Business, Financial and Investment Forums and Clinics for Ex-employees of GuySuCo

The Guyana Sugar Corporation Inc. (GuySuCo) and the  Ministry of Business extend this invitation to representatives from the Media to provide coverage of two ‘Business, Financial and Investment Forums’ and four ‘Coaching Clinics’ for ex-employees of GuySuCo. The forums will be held on 29 January, 2018 at the Enmore Community Centre and the second on 31 January, 2018 at the Skeldon Community Centre. There will be three sessions, an Opening Ceremony which commences at 09:00 hours, a Presentations session by participating organisations and ‘Financial, Business an Investment Information Sharing Sessions’ with individual organisations. Coaching Clinics are also scheduled for 5 February, at the Enmore Community Centre, 6 February, Wales Community Centre, 7 February, Rose Hall Community Centre and 8 February, Skeldon Community Centre. These Coaching Clinics will be held from 09:00 – 03:30 hours

This initiative is a part of the ‘Economic Resilience’ component of the ‘Sustainable Communities Programme’ for the sugar–dependent communities in the vicinity of Skeldon, Rose Hall, Enmore and Wales Estates. All ex-employees from these estates, as well as their family members, are invited to come out and spend a day with representatives from the Commercial Banks, Insurance Companies, Private Sector Commission, Guyana Stock Exchange and Senior Business personalities at these Financial, Business and Investment Forums.

Transportation will leave Patentia and  Vreed-en-Hoop, West Bank, Demerara at 7 a.m.,  and Cane Grove, Mahaica and Industry,  East Coast Demerara at 7 a.m. on Monday 29 January, 2018, and will be picking up persons along the way. Transportation will leave Enmore Community Centre at 4:00 p.m. to return persons to these locations.

In relation to the Forum on 31 January, 2018 at the Skeldon Community Centre, transportation will leave the No. 1 Road at 7 a.m. and Crabwood Creek in Berbice at 8 a.m. Another transportation will leave Gangaram Canje at 6:30 a.m. and from Providence, Berbice at 6:30 a.m. Transportation will leave Skeldon Community Centre at 4:00 p.m. to return persons to these locations
